Removing amalgam fillings

I am thinking of removing my Amalgam fillings. In addition to chronic candidiasis, I have chronic depression. I can't be sure chronic mercury poisoning is contributing to these conditions, but I can't rule it out, so I figure best to get rid of them.

I am concerned about a worsening of both yeast and Depression symptoms in the first year after removal, but if I wait for my candida problems to be resolved first before I remove my fillings, I may die of old age!

I am keen to hear whether people believe it was worthwhile doing because it has improved their health, or not.
