Re: Questioning the last 4 years of my life.

I am glad I found this site. I had my IUD inserted a a little over 3 months ago. Since then I have gained weight, mood swings, feel bloated, bleed on and off, have a clear discharge I almost always have to way a panty liner. I lost my sex drive. Recently my hair started falling out and I have Acne and my hair is so oily, even after I dry it is already oily again. I just feel nasty and tired. I am 33 and want my life back. I have already went once to have it taken out and my doctor told me to give it another month that it did not cause weight gain. She made me feel I was insane. My doctor got an IUD right after I did so I look forward to asking her how she is doing. I am going nuts. I now take medicine for Depression and anxiety and something to help me sleep at night. I think I would rather have 1 heavy period a month than go through all this torture it is not worth it. By the way my IUD is not not for birth control it is to control my periods because I am severely anemic. I was told my other option was a hysterectomy and I am now considering that.
