Re: emotional high, then hospitalized

I experienced the mixture OO (Olive-Oil) plus lemon juice much more upsetting for the stomach than OO (Olive-Oil) plus grapefruit juice. When lying down, was your head and chest in an upper position than your feet? If not, this can upset your stomach also.

Magnesium orotate and Epsom Salts too, belong to the category of osmotic laxatives, that means they work by pulling water (and with it, electrolytes) to the intestines. If your electrolyte balance was not good to start with, plus if you didn’t drink enough water/juices, plus the vomiting (all together nor just vomiting) created the dehydration. You can avoid dehydration by drinking the days before enough juices (for electrolyte balance, especially, Potassium) or honey and lemon. Honey helps to absorb quickly the electrolytes. In the morning you can drink pure water with a bit of the good salt (not heated, not refined, not chemical added to it) that will help for the Sodium and other trace minerals too.

Vomiting can give you a good high, it is a known effect of it. Some extreme therapies (I did it and it works) and religious practices use vomiting to clean you both emotionally and physically. Ayurveda uses it also.
