PS btw, ALL non-spiral non-halogen non-neon non-xenon non-energy saving light bulbs are IR bulbs (classic lightbulb pumps out 90%+ IR and only a single-digit amount of light by wattage).

IR = heat.

And classic old lightbulbs are just heat lamps w/ the side effect of creating A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF LIGHT. That's why same-wattage energy saving spiral bulbs will create the same amount of light at 1/5th the wattage - they simply produce less heat and thus more watts go into light.
