I just saw your post. How are you doing right now with your jaw infection?

I have no experience with jaw infections so I may not be the best person to advise you, but I thought I may help a little.

Garlic helped me when I had terrible, terrible toothache. Garlic is really powerful. It has antibacterial and antiviral properties, so maybe it can help with jaw infection.
You could try to rub your gums with a cut garlic (I hit delicately the piece of garlic with meat tenderizer to let juice go).

You could also rinse your mouth with salt diluted in water (I used Real Salt).
