That seems like it really makes sense, my dog used to love to eat brazil nuts (one or a half of one) but now he refuses them. Maybe he is selenium sufficient for now!

I try to eat the brazil nuts when they are really YUM YUM GOOD lol but not if they seem to be so-so. I have no other way of knowing if I need more selenium besides the instinct of food cravings.

I remember one time when I was eating a not-so healthy diet, I had to get a nut mix and pick out the brazil nuts and ate them like crazy.

I remember that today and I am SURE it must have been a symptom of a dire need for selenium.
