James was right!

I took zyflamend for several years and wound up with a clinically low potassium level but at the time I did not know why.My systolic blood pressure also rose 50 points due to sodium retention and potassium depletion.

Then I read where James mentioned that 2 of the herbs in zyflamend deplete potassium and even though the amounts are very very small over a two year period it was enough to deplete potassium.....barberry 20mg and chinese goldthread 20mg.Both contain about 1.2mg of berberine.

Here is a study from pub med where zyflamend is used to treat prostate cancer and apparently is successful.

But it is necessary to watch out for a decrease in potassium level and a rise in blood pressure if you take zyflamend.
