Hyperthyroidism and leg pain and weakness

Has anyone experienced fairly severe leg weakness (trouble climbing stairs and getting out of chair) with Hyperthyroidism? This symptom appears to be atypical - I'm getting very discouraged - anyone, please? Thanks, Angela
