Re: What happened to me?

Maybe you need a little more complex carbs to raise you blood Sugar a little, as it was so low. Protein does not raise it but more or less sustains it.

Keep in mind, when ever you eat a meal or snack, always eat protein along with complex carb like 1/2 apple and turkey wrapped in cheese for a snack or apple slices with a few teaspoons of almond butter on them.

And a meal like 20 grams of protein ( 2 ounces) and 1/3 cup brown rice and 1 cup green beans. ( sample )
V-8 juice is a good juice that is low in carbs and higher in fiber and will not spike your blood Sugar but will help raise it a little, but have it with a meal or a protein, complex carb snack.
Good complex carbs are: 12 whole grain toast
brown and wild rice
1/2 small sweet potato with skins
whole grain, high fiber fiber cereal)
fresh strawberries

I've been hypoglycemic for 23 years and have to have this balance.
Before bed have 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt ( higher in protein than regualar) with a few fresh strawberries mashed into it with stevia to sweeten. And have 2 RyeKrisp crackes with almond butter or real butter on them.
