Re: Water fasting & Adrenal insufficiency

Chris, this may seem completely elementary, but are you drinking enough water? (I mean water, not processed liquids) So many people are chronically dehydrated; esp. so, if taking any medications... And pain is very often an indicator of -more than anything else- a chronic dehydration, which affects all systems. (When clinical kinesiologists work with clients, they almost always find they have to first get them to drink up to 3 glasses of water before their electrical systems are even functional, to test for 'strong' or 'weak'. )

The thing about Water Fasting that is exciting is the way it restores order to glands and so on. I've been trying my best to remember was it Liver Flushing or Water Fasting for me that has done the most good.

I was at one time prescribed various glandular extracts for adrenal exhaustion; had any number of symptoms adding up, and you name it. Palpitations, hepatitis "non-a, non-b",one kidney half the size of the other, due to having a few bouts of nephritis as a child. And the low blood sugar...Oh. And I almost forgot. I was diagnosed with COPD! which is a kind of death sentence.

Yet it does not exist anymore. My doctor was mystified.

I notice in Chris' most recent post to you, Shelton says that the glandular extracts do not restore the glands, and I always intuited this.

It's water fasting, the liver being restored (which also happens with water fasting), and eating raw fruits and vegetables; getting live enzymes and *high-brix* produce that heals. Period.

And along with this, turning the mind away form the tyranny of the medical-model's disease-based thinking--which is always about 'managing' symptoms, and simply lacks the vibration high enough to see outside this model. It's an old cliche but the standard (of) several hours of nutritional instruction MDs receive is truly enough in itself to cause one to turn away from that particular lunacy.:-) But this is hard to do, when you are adrenally-compromised. The "cortisol-dependancy" has to go.

Once you get your adrenals back online-- and I think this is closer than it might appear to you, you will become a guide for others who are trapped, sick and tired. That's ALL to the good!

I strongly encourage you to read the fasting masters like Shelton... What helped me the most to believe -no, trust- a long (29 day water fast) was entirely possible, and a good thing, was reading Shelton, Bass, Purinton. And a story by a doctor who healed himself of life-threatening gastrits--I forget his name. Goldstein, maybe. (Anyone?) He was literally dying--and came to VITAL life again.

The soil and health library online, has the old writings of the *"Natural Hygiene" masters. *That's what the wisdom of this forum is grounded on. I'd start with getting off that medical drink, and drinking more pure water, maybe with a pinch of good salt added. I'd work toward the water fast, in the mind.

PS--I spent several years half-believing in all my ailments, studying like mad, but looking here and there into the various individual systems and organs, before I discovered real health is literally, 'right under our noses.' Yup, hidden in plain sight.

That's humbling, and ennobling!
To your health

best, Chiron
