can anyone elaborate on olive leaf extracts ability to interfere with critical amino acid production essential for viruses? Is this good or bad?

I know it's good in that it effects the virus but don't we need this critical amino acid production? I'm not the brightest when it comes to figuring these things out. Can someone please tell me how this would effect the body as a whole if the amino acid production was interfered with? Thanks.
