Anyone actually been diagnosed with Trichinellosis

I have recently tested positive for trichinellosis and an dealing with the acute chronic stage of the disease. Has anyone else had a diagnosis such as this or suspect they have this parisitic issue. I was turned down for treatment by an Infectious and tropical disease clinic as my tests were done outside of my country - Canada. Just trying to get info on managing or treating trichinellosis.
