Re: Worries about resin debonding procedure!

Bizarre indeed. When this just started I thought I lost my mind. The fibers a very tiny now and it is not happening on a daily base anymore, but in the beginning I pulled nylon-like threads out of my mouth with a length of 4 to 5 inch. That happend 10 to 15 times a day. Before they came out I had severe pain and as soon as it was out, the pain disapeard again. Had lesions in my mouth and nose. One dentist said that I did this myself when I was chewing, but the location of the lesions were to high.

It is one of the materials properties. This phenomona is called crazing. ( started my own research about dental polymers/monomers once I got the picture that no one would/could help me with this) I did see a material scientist/dean dentistry in 2008 but he denied that my dentist made a mistake ( said that dentists never apply this with a syringe.) I had a feeling that he was protecting the dentist against legal action, but now I think he is protecting the material and he is trying to cover something up. I think I know what, but when I tell you, you probably will think that I'm nuts en stop responding....The material scientist knows exactly what is going on.
