We are adults and can choose if to do it ourself or if we will let our health in the doctors hand.

I know quite a few hypo T-hashimotoes, most are at their withs end; as the medication work poorly.
They have every symptom of hypo T I know of, but their medication is taken up, then down; as the docs are counting all on the tests. It is a roller coaster race I am glad I never participated in.

Yes, selenium is important with hashimotos. So are the other co factors. My guess is that the lack of success in many cases lies herein.
