Sodium Thiosulfate will combine with the halogens in your bath water to render them harmless. It and other halogen removers, are available relatively cheaply. Ted at earthclinic.com even goes so far as to recommend taking it internally on occasion, but I won't go further than recommending it in your bath.

I bought a different halogen remover form a swimming pool supply store and have been using it in my baths. It beats going hippie.
