Try lactoferrin with your iron supps. Lactoferrin is a supplement that makes iron better absorbed into your blood, leaving less in your lower gut for the bad bugs to eat. I'm paraphrasing it, but that is the general idea of how lactoferrin supplements can help. Just a thought.
