Give your cat a little foodgrade diatomaceous earth in his water. It's inexpensive, absorbs toxins, supplies trace minerals and can help remove parasites. Also other type clays can be good. Just don't give too much that it plugs up the works-if u know what I mean...

I really don't know about giving Iodine or CS to cats.
