When drugs irritate the stomach many things may occur; without complete information it is difficult to determine what is occurring. Aspirin is one drug that is known to cause serious issues with the stomach if taken on an empty stomach. I have known people that nearly died from bleeding that occurred from over taking aspirin. In one case, her husband a pathologist had remembered cayenne being use during his military years in Europe; he used it immediately on her and saved her life; the bleeding was under control and able to reach the hospital. Drugs and their effect on us is nothing to take lightly.
