Iodine supplementation...although I am extremely grateful to those that brought
Iodine back into awareness, especially our dear departed Prof. Guy Abrahams.
Many forum members here have taken large doses with not only no ill effects, but it eased detox.
Trapper pioneered this here. I was skeptical in the beginning , for a few different reasons. The first being that we were in uncharted waters and I hadn't learned enough about iodine at that time to be comfortable with large doses. The second reason was that we had numerous posters with difficulties taking small doses... so in my simplistic thinking I equated MORE iodine with MORE "detox". The third reason is that I started with a small dose and titrated up, so of course I wanted validation of my approach :)
It was gratifying and validated Trapper's and many other poster's experiences to find that EXTREMELY large doses were given, historically, with good effect. The last two posts cover this:
