sugar free maple syrup?
Hi again..sorry for the second post of the day. I posted a few minutes ago about my fear of all the sugar/carbs in the grade b maple syrup as I have been following an ultra low carb (less than 20g a day) and low
Sugar diet for a few months now. My fear is that my body will react badly to the
Sugar and I may even gain weight. I have found this "all natural"
Sugar free maple syrup. it says
" Unlike other sugar-free syrups, it contains no artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners,
preservatives , or other garbage. Its sweetness comes from natural maltitol pressed from chicory root. It has only 9 calories per tablespoon (compare with 52 calories per tablespoon of traditional maple syrup) and zero impact carbs. Would using this instead be ok? I would then worry that my calorie intake would be very low so how could I up the calories?
