A few recipes that have helped rid the mites

Hey guys, if anyone else is like me, you probably get really freaking irritated that trying to get rid of demodex takes at least 3-4 hours of your time every day. I'm 26 and don't have time like that, and over the past year i've discovered a few recipes that save some time at killing demodex and that have helped with my itching and to cut down on the demodex population. Keep in mind these don't kill every single demodex you ever will have on your body, but you should notice a huge population decrease and lessoning of your annoying symptoms.

First things first! Get a bunch of lint rollers! I lint roll my fitted bed sheet every day, since I simply cannot wash my sheets every day. I only can wash my sheets and pillowcases once a week, and just by lint rolling the fitted sheet, I get rid of a lot of living demodex that accumulate over night. I do change my pillow cases everyday, but when I didn't have enough to last, I lint rolled the pillow cases too. It really does seem to help and only takes about 5 minutes to do.

I have demodex the worst in my scalp. To the point where I pulled out the entire top of the hair on my head. It's finally growing back and the only thing that seemed to work to stop the over abundance and itching was this recipe:

use any tea tree shampoo
mix 1/2 of the tea tree shampoo with 1/2 of tea tree oil and shampoo your scalp and let it sit for 15 minutes, rinse it off and do it again for another 15 minutes.

make sure you buy pharmaceutical grade tea tree oil. I used the type from walmart which probably isn't the greatest but it got the job done.

I washed my hair every other day and on the days I did not wash it, I sprayed my scalp with this blend of oils:

1 TBS tea tree oil
1 TSP extra virgin coconut oil
1 TSP cold pressed golden jojoba oil
1 TSP cold pressed argan oil

You just mix them all together and put in a tinted spray bottle. If anyone wants the link to where I buy my oils from, feel free to ask. It does make a difference what type oils you use because cold pressed have always worked the best on my scalp and they aren't all watered down and cheap.

FACE WASH:
2 TSP Dr. Bronner's hemp-lavendar pure castille liquid soap
1/2 TSP Tea tree oil
Use a whisk or something to blend it together and keep in a glass jar. It will be a little burning and make your face red at first but eventually you will get use to it. If too strong at first, add another TSP of the castile soap to the mix.

Just wanted to share that maybe it can help someone else. If anything needs clarification, just ask. I'll try to get back on here next weekend. Good luck!
