Re: HELP!!! Coffee Enemas causing back pain and swelling!
YES. I have had the same BACK PAIN and SWELLING. It became pressure in my lower rectal colon. And cramps around my abdomen and large intestine. Like water retention or mucosal irritation. The back pain would come and go, but I had several times when I did a
coffee enema during the day and then at night, I was kept up by abdominal cramping and disturbing discomfort. I have concluded that
coffee enemas are NOT for me. It felt like after I did them, like I had low blood sugar, and like my blood pressure was off, and possibly my kidneys were retaining water too much or not draining properly. If there is a correlation between the kidneys and liver during this procedure, then yes, my kidneys couldn't keep up with this much water being absorbed into the colon. (FYI, I am 33 female) I am also someone who does not tolerate caffeine well in the drink form. And I read somewhere if you don't tolerate it in the drink form, don't put it up your butt!!! I also learned a bout 3 years ago that I have a narrowed ureter on one of my kidneys, so that is also a structural issue to consider, oh and also the fact that the very first time I tried a
coffee enema (unsuccessfully and without good equipment), I got a UTI and kidney infection right after! I had no idea how that happened and didn't suspect it, but the doctor at the hospital tested my urine and pronounced me as having an advanced UTI. Very very uncomfortable. And right now at this very moment, I have ANOTHER UTI and kidney infection. After doing
coffee enemas with a 8
oz syringe bulb about 2 or 3x a week. I am presently on
Antibiotics . And I still feel like something is off. I am on the Dr. Lawrence Wilson nutritional balancing program for six months now, started Jan 2014, via one of the nutritionists who work through him...I regret doing this. This has done way more harm than I could have imagined or wanted. I advise everyone against doing coffee enemas. They are not safe. They are harmful. They push all the poo back up your colon, and then add more waste from the liver to that mix, and then expect your kidneys to clean up that mess. Don't do a coffee enema. It is not good.
