If you do have an ercp make sure you get a stint placed after this is important to decrease the chance of worse pancreatitis. Also I have read that ibuprofen and any other inflammation reducing thing you can think of will help after an ercp. Believe me you dont want worse pancreatitis. Also have they done a EUS endoscopic ultrasound? that was how they found my gallstone trapped in the pancreatic duct. (a regular ultrasound didnt find the stone) a gallstone trapped in the duct will cause pancreatitis, high liver and pancreatic enzymes.But yes so will SOD
