One more thing - something that may not be visible on the picture. The worm was not round - it was flat - like a piece of ribbon and it made me think that it could be a tapeworm.

Thank you for your suggestion re ELISA tests. I will speak with my doc and try to get them done next week. My question is how reliable are blood tests for ascaris?

The specimen I sent out to the lab came back negative - of course :(((. I feel like I'm done with regular labs.

I found dr. Wilcox lab in AZ and will try sending out samples over there. I feel like I'm infested with something (my major symptoms now are lack of appetite, nausea after eating, burping, vomiting, fullness after meal). Anybody had those symptoms with round- or tapeworm?
