FILARIA IS A DISEASE AND A STAGE OF ANOTHER DISEASE.

I cannot tell you if you have the disease (certain parasites) or if you have a worm infection that has as one of its stages, filaria.

Stage = one of many stages is a filarial stage.

Identification of the parasite is the only way to know for sure.

If you poke around with a couple of things like papain, natural or piperazine citrate, you may be able to get a read on which one you have.

Many people have no clue till they loose vision, etc. Ultimately it is usually a roundworm infection, and not a filarial disease, but a roundworm disease like Ascaris or strongyloides.
