Iodine and H2O2 together

Does anyone know if it's a good idea to do H2o2 oxygen therapy in conjunction with iodine? I've been supplementing with Lugols 5% Iodine (about 15 drops a day) to keep my herpes (HSV2) at bay for the last 6 months and it had worked really well but I recently lapsed in my treatment and the HSV came back so I want to try the H2o2 but continue my Iodine supplementation.

Has anyone already done this?
