Palmarosa,

You do need to stir the solution during production. My best recommendation is to use an inexpensive aquarium bubbler to stir the liquid, then use a simple valve to prevent excessive bubbling. Hold the bubbler tubing at the bottom of your jar with any simple weight.

While this approach is controversial with some "Experts," this is the method used by our Guru Steve Barwick in his own Silver Edge Home Generator. IMO, if it is good enough for Steve Barwick then it is good enough for me.

Also, the results really are excellent.
