My friend used donor eggs as she had her ovaries removed after ovarian cancer so she couldn’t produce eggs. And it turned out to be a good experience for her.
And my twin sister, who had infertility and couldn’t get pregnant for 6 years, she used her own eggs and it turned out good for her. She didn’t want to use donor eggs as she wanted the baby to share her genes.
So I guess both ways are fine. It depends on what you want. Do you really want the child to share your genes or you are okay if it doesn’t?"
