Need help interpreting my reaction to adrenal glandulars

I have tried several adrenal glandulars (often at very small doses) and they all make me feel very wired, give me brain fog, and sometimes cause an energy crash the following day. Does this mean my adrenals are so weak they can’t handle the glandulars or (trying to be optimistic) that my body is producing enough adrenal hormones and I don’t need the glandulars?
