candida in the eye...a rationale?

Hi ya,

When I think about it further it acutally doesn't surprise me that I have candida in the eyes. After all, systemic candida is (a) opportunistic (b) loves living/hiding in mucous lining...

The threads are embedded (I believe) in behind the vitreous (of the eye) which is a "transparent, colorless mass of soft, gelatinous material filling the eyeball" and is located behind the eye lens.

What does it look/feel like: I don't feel anything in the eye, but as I said in my other post I can see them in my "line of vision". I can see them every time I move my eyes. The retina is the innermost coat of the back of the eye, formed of light-sensitive nerve endings that carry the visual impulse to the optic nerve. The retina may be compared to the film of a camera. As such, it would make sense that I would see the embeded threads (within the vitreous) as they are reflected, turned right-side-up and enlarged.

Unlike the nose/sinus area, I believe eye candida is more "obvious" in that you can "see" the threads when you move the eyeball:

Allow your vision to jump from one object to another (the area should be reasonably well-lit). This should allow you to visualize thready, almost shadowy-like lines/threads that continue to move after you have alighted onto another object.

This is not a "method" of determining eye candida, but unfortunatelly it is the only way I know how to describe it : (

I hope this helps somewhat..
Alex
