left sided questions

Dear Andreas,
My life “appears” to be falling apart, and I distract myself with questions like this one….so it goes…

I have an extra ‘nipple’ on my left breast, high up and closer to my armpit. I remember when I was expecting my first child over 25 years ago, I asked the o.b. what the ‘thing’ on my breast between my armpit and my real nipple was, and he said, "No worry, it was just had an ‘extra nipple’.. " It does kind of resemble one, soft tissue, but it doesn’t act like one.

I don’t know if I had it before the first pregnancy….I was raised pretty much to ignore my body, and it’s taken a lot of years to start paying attention and honoring it. I guess I’m just curious about it. I didn’t have a mother(she was alchohalic and left the picture by age four, I have NO memories of her, and I “mothered” my five children at the expense of my own health, care and growth. I gave all my energy, time, gifts to my children, but pushed past the point of balance—I did it at the expense of my own care. Now they expect Mom to be as self- sacrificing as always, and it is turning their and my husbands world upside down as I am becoming more self-assertive and less willing to sacrifice--actually my survival instincts have kicked in and although it isn’t a ‘fight’ to survive, it feels like one.

Which is why my second question is, not surprisingly….my pancreas and spleen area are tender, and to my best guess, a little swollen. I’ve done 5 liver flushes, am due to do another soon.(did finally pass gallstones during colonic, little greenies prior to that) Any suggestions? Also, slight tenderness of kidney on left side; in fact, the majority of my pain, and come to think of it, my extra ‘nipple’ are all on my left side. There is a nagging pain in that left buttock as well. I may be making too much of it, but is there something to the fact that so much is calling for attention on my left side? My vision in the left eye is worse than the right…and this sounds silly, but when I “twist” my ears, only the left one “crackles”. Wow, I got way off what I was originally going to ask, but thank you for any insights.

Just 1/16/06 (yesterday( did enema,had severe cramping and gas in the night; today have pain in last bend of colon; again left side. Neck spots more tender, you guessed it, left side. I am not left handed. Hmm, I was holding a baby yesterday--most comfortable holding her on my left side. So, I guess it is left side pain and extra nipple....
