Need instant help with epson salt liver flush

I have food poisioning and my boss suggested this epson salt, olive oil cleansing. I have two questions. One: Can I drink water in between the scheduled drinks? Two: Since I have had my 1st child I have not been able to go 8 hours without going to the bathroom every few hours. Will this spoil the cleansing? Thank you for any help you can give me.
