Yes, that is a scary story. It is too bad, but you just can't tell your doctor about the alternative medicine.

The last time I saw my doctor I told him that I was not planning to go for surgery, but was trying some herbs etc.
My doctor is open minded, but still I decided not to go as far as to tell him about the liverflushes. He is very interested to do another ultrasound next time, to see how well the herbs are working!

Depending on the conversation the next time I will see if I want to give him more detail.
