I agree with this... and it should be this way no matter how people view abortion.  Irresponsible sex always has terrible repercussions.

Abortion is a symptom of our ill society, as is irresponsible and/or promiscuous sex.  Treat the cause and you'll find a potentially strong deterant to abortion. 

Screaming that abortion is murder is not going to make any positive changes.  It's just going to piss people off and abortions will continue to occur, whether or not it is legal.  Treating the reasons that create an environment that breeds abortions is the only way to cut to the chase.

Figure out what the reasons are and work on those.  Treat it just like one would treat a potentially terminal disease.  Get to the cause, don't waste time focusing on the symptoms.
