Biolichen, Florabalance, Nature's Biotics confusion...

http://www.upwardquest.com/ This site has several probiotic formulae including Biolichen, Florabalance and Nature's Biotics. What are other commercially available probiotics or will anybody lend me a recipe and starter culture? Is BACILLUS SUBTILIS the heavy hitter? I'm very suspicious of Utah companies for their inclusion of 'trace minerals' that consist of Great Salt Lake pondscum that contains heavy metals. Biolichen, I think it is, claims to contain 70+ minerals and, like many cheap and expensive mineral supplements, they could likely contain nickel, tin and other toxic heavy metals. What's the other formula that contains an SBO they claim NAZI's discovered--was that BACILLUS SUBTILIS? Can I just grow this stuff like yogurt i.e. pour boiling water in stainless steel thermos, remove, put in culture of say 1/2 molasses and 1/2 something like Wakame seaweed (for weight loss) that contains real nontoxic trace minerals; a little 110 degree water; and seed with a BACILLUS SUBTILIS culture? Sorry I can't get a grasp on this process or these companies. I have tree lichen can I culture lichen?!? What does it cure in real life for real people? Would I be better off just making my own fermented cabbage for lactobacillus, which is contained in Nature's Biotics? Thanks for any help.
