Re: Does mercury toxicity (from amalgams) cause permanent damage?

I'm a little confused. She put in mercury because I couldn't get crowns. Lots and lots of mercury. Four teeth. I've had all the corroded old merc out, but those four I couldn't afford to get the merc out of. That's what I'm fighting for. Those four had huge craters because mercury had destroyed the rest of the tooth, and one had broken away after another dentist had told me it wasn't broken when I felt it crack.

I had one month of OHP (Medicare) when I got on disability, and she had a small practice. I don't know what a smart dentist would have done in lieu of mercury, but there was hardly anything there, and it was decayed.

My last dental visit was in 2001. Within months of that idiot who didnt' listen to me, one broke out (the one he said was fine); then over the next couple of years, one then another then another merc-filled tooth went bye-bye. I had had craters from 1–4 years, and there was decay in what remained. I would say crowns weren't out of the question. I don't have my x-rays, I should go get them. They were taken before that last merc was put in.
