Well, first of all, you must stoping blaming yourself. There is nothing wrong with you.

If he is truly being honest, and this is not a long standing problem, he should be checked out by a doctor, whether he wants to try using male enhancement drugs or not, just to make sure there isn't something going on he should know about.

Prehaps a little testosterone supplement would do the trick...
or a bottle of wine...
or a little hypnosis...if he is cleared physically...

Or you could just continue to treasure him as is and go on having the most wonderful days of your life with him, and keep it platonic. Having a friend like that is a wonderful gift all by itself.

At any rate, the two of you must communicate about it and not let the frustrations and embarassment fester.
