I have found Triphala to be one of the best cleanses you can do. If taken in small amounts over a long period, one gets a deep cleansing of even the basal membranes. It is very gentle, and an excellent detox.

If one needs a more immediate relief it is also safe in slightly larger doses for a shorter period.
