I use a handful as my hair is long. I would say experiment how much you want to use as i dont really go by measurements.
I also forgot to mention leave it in your hair for 5-10 mins if your showering with it in your hair. If your washing your hair in a basin leave it on for 15-20 mins before rinsing.
