I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend...and someone so vibrantly ALIVE and young!

I also share your rage with the medical treatments, particulary where cancer is concerned. My father, both paternal grandparents, and a paternal aunt and uncle were all diagnosed with cancer and went through surgeries, chemo and radiation. Without exception, none of them died of cancer...but rather from the 'treatments'! And they were painful and lingering deaths...horrible to watch and, I'm sure, nearly unbrearable to suffer through.

Very sad.
