I believe that the numbers are different here in Australia because I haven't been able to find an equivalent on the net. He told me that the "normal" range was between 15-30 and I scored a 16. As for ferritin it came back 4. I don't know what these numbers mean. He has ordered a full iron work-up and I am waiting the results. When I go back I am going to ask for a copy of all the labs.

My nearest ND is a 13 hour drive away. But I am starting to think that I have no choice but to fly down there and see someone who knows what they are talking about.

And as for Omega 3,5,9. I don't think that is the problem. I eat good oils daily and also supplement. But then again, I also supplement iron and apparently I am low in that, so who knows.
