These come to my mind now: fenbendazole, doxy, pyrantel, levamisole, moxidectin, ivermectin. These should work on filarial worms and roundworms too. Oh my god, I have a cat and she is 18 years old - actually I have had cats (mostly all indoor cats) for much of my adult life... I have always suspected parasites because I will get this pain in that right eye that is the most incredible pain you can imagine and, this has been going on and progressing for at least 2 and a half years. Hi AK I have some similar symptoms. My left eye is pushed forward a little bit. I have some pain, but the pain never been very strong. My other symptoms are: I have a dry eye and a swollen eyelid on the left side of my face. The eye is more dry and swollen after sleeping. I also feel some pain under the left eye (probably in a sinus), especially when exposed to cold, windy weather. I had MRI done and my sinuses are ok. Follow-up - I went for an MRI no contrast (I don’t want those stinking chemicals in my body) and they did very thin slices for about one hour of both eyes and the brain. My doc (not the ophthalmalogist)said that there were just a couple of lines (don’t remember the exact wording) that looked like little mini-strokes but nothing serious........ Have you been tested for graves and hashimotos antibodies? It sounds like thyroid eye disease. Please, does anyone, anyone know what this could be from: My right eye has progressively become larger than the left. The left one is normal and when you look at the right I now look like a scary character from some sci-fy movie. I don’t know why no one has replied to your question so far. I think the use of urine as an eyewash has been discussed here before. I haven’t yet tried it myself but I want to, because I think it might help improve my vision. Of course, it would probably help if I spent less time online! Yes, it would be fine to use your partner’s urine in an eyecup. Nice that you can be open with your partner about this. It’s not that common! IMO going off the medication would be best, but use your judgment.   [End]

Hithere all, i have been having deep eye pain, burning and discomfort on my right eye for almost 3 mths now. I have been having problems with intense eye pain on some days. I noticed today it started AFTER taking my morning dose of Lugol’s. Nothing seems to be relieving it. Wearing my reading glasses doesn’t help. On days that I don’t take the Lugol’s, I don’t have the intense eye pain. I am wondering if the Lugol’s is making changes in my eyes or what. I had surgery on my eyes many years ago. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? And no, I am not seeing any improvement in my vision either.
