Thank you for sharing. I've heard good things about Blessed Herbs. My holistic dentist actually used them. The blessed herbs cleanse is a lot shorter than other types of Colon Cleanses though, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. I thought that Colon Cleanses are supposed to be done for much longer. Also, that is not good that you were constipated after the liver flushes. I was never constipated.
My diet is not perfect, but it is a big improvement from the SAD diet that I ate for most of my life. I try to follow the Weston A. Price foundation dietary guidelines. I eat chicken, beef, homemade broths with vegetables like cabbage, onions, carrots, eggs both raw and cooked, raw milk...those are foods I eat regularly, which I think are the healthiest. I don't eat too much fruit, but if I do, its berries. I try to limit grains and sugar, but still eat them on a pretty regular basis. For grains, its mostly white rice, sometimes brown rice, and sourdough bread with lots of butter. I don't drink soda at all, but mostly my Sugar I eat is from ice cream or cookies. I would like to get rid of Sugar in my diet but its so hard. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sugar and grains are causing my oily skin. I also need to start preparing my grains correctly by soaking or sprouting them so they are easier to digest.
If you can share what is working for you for treating your acne, I would be very interested to know. Thank you.
