Hi Cheshire77. I have heard of the diet - in fact, one of my dad's friends in a huge advocate of it, and sells prepared jars of the fermented veggies using the authors probiotic cultures.
I always enjoyed how they taste, as well as the products using young coconuts, though feel that the fermented veggies may have aggravated me a bit somehow. I've never gone so far as to pursue the whole diet itself, but will keep it in mind. Thanks. Have you yourself enjoyed success with it?
