Have you had a medical exam? You also posted this in the thyroid forum. Are you hyper or hypo thyroid?

I would say the adrenaline is creating problems (hormonal, etc.) and that you want to pay attention to that bit about not feeling your emotions. A good book for this is Karla McLaren's The Language of Emotions.

Sounds like you may also be dealing with some trauma stored in the body as tension and adrenaline. For release, a good book to take a look at (and very brief) is Healing Trauma by Peter Levine.

Watching your diet for sensitivities like gluten or other allergies might help with the brain fog.

Being in a constant state of fight or flight, like what you're describing here, can cause a lot to break down in the body. You probably already know this given your username.

Try exercise to get that adrenaline flowing out of your muscles and breaking it down and drinking lots of water - rebuilding with healthy, clean foods, and learning to feel your emotions. Have you done any meditation or do anything to combat stress or calm yourself and release tension?
