I've heard a little about Lysine for anxiety. And it really worked for you? How mucy in a dose, milligrams did you take?


About a gram a day. For a while as 500mg with lunch and dinner, for a while as 1g with dinner. I think there's lots of flexibility in when and how much, but I just get that impression from how it's been working for me.

I understand the benefit of asking people for advice, and I'm very glad to give it when I can help. I'm also feeling like you could use some encouragement in taking charge. Don't be afraid to take initiative and make things happen for yourself, including testing supplements. Reading up on stuff, at least to get basic information, can be as easy as googling, and testing things out is often the best way because our needs are individual. Start low and go slow. (And keep record of what you take and how you feel.)

And this is really what stands out. Our needs are individual. Each of us is different in our health issues, in our timeline, in our bodies. We can get good hints and tips from others, and we should — that's why we're here in this forum! — but we also each need to take charge and direct our personal healing. It gives us our best chance for fastest success. You can do it. And we're all here to help and support one other in this journey. We can do it.
