It's none of my business but I think that your condition originates from the sport that you are in, not so much your lifestyle.
My husband used to be a bodybuilder too before we met. He got sick with some mysterious illness that was never diagnosed. All they could say was that it was something autoimmune.
And it started with some minor food intolerances and allergies to things he had never been allergic before.
He was losing tremendous amounts of weight, couldn't walk anymore and his heart stopped... He survived but never fully recovered. From what I deduce it was a very severe case of adrenal exhaustion, possibly near-failure.
It makes sense to me that those extreme workouts, extreme dieting, electrolyte imbalances and crazy supplements that you guys put your body through for your competitions are very destructive.
I used to be an endurance athlete myself, so I know how hard it is to give up your favorite sport but it's better to do it now than wait until it's too late...
