you are not suppose to take anything during the cleanse as it adds extra burden on the filtering organs which could result in damage or failure. depending on your personal condition. if you are not going to get a renal test and a liver test before cleansing to ensure you are healthy and go get regular check ups through out your cleanse it is not safe.

are you taking it for drinking or to protect the liver?
