Near a waterfall sounds pretty idyllic. :-) This weekend I'm going to look at the land around a small place called Elora...There's a gorge there, and a spring-fed swimming pond, and some crown land...that sort of thing.


Pity my mother isn't a bit younger--she'd be great in a work-party! having built one house already herself in Mexico.(Well, she managed it, and did a lot of the work and all the research--no small feat, a woman leading a Mexican Maestro and his workers.)She kept the price way down, and sold it last year, to begin again.

As it happens, I'll probably be in HER work-party, on some new land for her and a second house-building project.


No straw bale in Mexico...but some really great stuff happening with sculpted forms of concrete.
