As for Salt Spring Island, my mom was raised on Texada. At 85 she asked just the other day to be taken back for another look. Dad is 96.

Isn't the price stunning? Shame!

My grandmother was widowed at age 28. She raised four children, alone, on chickens and a paper route. But now that life is so desirable that only the wealthy can afford it.
